Heavy on the cardamom and light on everything else including the bourbon barrel. Drinkable enough but a bit too sweet and overall nothing outstanding to be found. A bit of a disappointment considering the price of admission. Pistachio comes through more as it warms.

Poured from a 750 into a snifter, the beer is a bright, vibrant, caramel coloring, with thin legs of carbonation bubbling in the body, and a filmy, sparse, white head. Aromas of rich sweetness forward, heavy on apple and honey, with a solid spice blend of cinnamon and cardamom, and a substantial ribbon of vanilla and bourbon. Smells like a liquid dessert. Flavors are richly sweet forward, heavy on honey, vanilla, bourbon warmth, and brown sugar. Subtle highlights of cinnamon, cardamom, candi sugar, and wood spice. Solid aftertaste of candy sweetness, sugary and rich in vanilla and honey, balanced and lingering on the rich, slick, layered body. The finish is smooth, slick, and slightly cloying. This is a really tasty, creative beer. Very drinkable.

Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 for sharing this beer
A: Medium to burnt orange, some milky honey around the edges - pours with a frothy, white head, fades to a wispy cap and a small white collar, leaves some streaks
S: This literally does, in fact, smell like a dessert pastry - an interesting blend of spices, mostly cinnamon, cardamom - bright pistachio aroma - some nice honey - Belgian yeast, with some yeasty funk, clove, banana, and bubblegum - pale and caramel malts - bread, bread dough, sweet biscuits - bourbon and barrel
T: Sweet honey nicely balanced by the other flavors - lightly spicy, with a nice amount of cinnamon and cardamom - pistachios with some nice nuttiness, works surprisingly well - Belgian yeast in moderation, with some musty yeast flavor, bright clove, bubblegum, and some phenols - bourbon also in moderation, with some nice vanilla and wood - pale malts, with some caramel, bread, bread dough - definite alcohol flavor in the finish that lingers
M: On the full side of medium, smooth, nicely carbonation, finishes with some sweetness and booze
O: Always save room for dessert, brah
This is a bizarre concept for a beer, and while it does definitely taste like a novelty, it actually works better than it should. The honey, the nuttiness, the bourbon, and the malt profile hang together well.

Pours a copper color with a thumb sized off white head that leaves some sparse lacing.
Aroma is wow sweet honey, cinnamon, pistachio, good bourbon notes, other spices and light fruity candy like notes. Really complex and different smelling think its mostly the cinnamon.
Taste is wow just like the nose but sweeter, lots of honey almost molasses like, or maybe honey sprinkled with brown sugar. Cinnamon is defiantly in the finish along with good bourbon flavors without the alcohol burn, along with vanilla hints. It is a very unique beer pistachio is preset, almost too much uniqueness for a 750ml.
Mouthfeel is only medium for a big beer, carbonation is medium also.
Overall a very unique and good beer, couldn't see drinking lots of it but defiantly worth trying.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a hazy copper color capped by a nice enough head of foam; stringy lacing lingers
Smell: Bourbon, honey, caramel, cinnamon and pistachios - baklava with a touch of whiskey in the gooey sauce
Taste: As it smells. the flavors of baklava are intense with all of the ingredients in the aroma appearing on the palate; both the Bourbon and the honey tones, in particular, build through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: I could take this is a small dose but would be overwhelmed by a bottle due to the sweetness from the honey flavor

The aroma on this beer is great. Sweet honey, candy sugar, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of bourbon. The flavor unfortunately does not quite live up to the aroma with Belgian spices, caramel malt, and bourbon dominating with a touch of honey and a lightly boozy finish. Solid, overall, but I was hoping for a bit more considering how good the description sounds.
