Thanks to Chris for the sample, i’d never waste money on this.
Looks the part, bright straw gold with a thin layer of broken foam.
Aromas of sulfuric lager yeast and earthy soil... as in straight up dirt.
Taste is one note, nutty truffle oil and dirt. Flaccid feel, bland with zero nuance.
Purely a gimmick beer, and suckers are born every minute. Pretension squared.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 1 pint 6 fluid ounce bottle on November 20, 2017. Look is clear champagne. Smell is truffle, pear and lightly toasted malt. Taste is a complex blend of pear, truffle oil, wheat, grass and earth. Feel is light in body. Don't listen to the haters who bitch about the price. Truffles are extremely rare and expensive. Deal with that fact, or don't buy it.

This beer is totally ridiculous. Costing $20 for 5 oz., I expected black truffle pieces to be floating in my beer. This tasted and smelled like a standard pilsner with a hint of truffle oil added. It was a nutty, bland pilsner, with faint earthy flavors and aromas. Left the mouth feeling dry, and coated with a weird, nutty, earthy aftertaste. Like the rest of the beers at this place, over-thought and under-delivered. Stop the gimmicks and just brew some decent beer.

Exactly what it sounds like! Looks like a pilsner, feels like a pilsner. But the taste and aroma has unmistakable nutty notes of black truffle. Definitely worth a try!

Take pickle juice and pour it in a miller lite. That's what this taste like. Even paired it with a high end steak like it was intended and it didn't do this beer justice. Waste of money.

For $120 by far the worst beer I've ever tasted! I've had worse but based on cost, hype, and having to win a lottery to get this beer I feel absolutely ripped off. Smell no good. Taste, not much better. Total waste Of Money. Do not buy nor trade for this beer. I would like to contact brewer for my money back. Rather drink miller lite than this!!!!
