Reviewed from notes. Had on tap at the Cycle One-Year Anniversary event. Served in a Cycle snifter.

A: Very hazy green in color, with a thin white head and low visible carbonation. I don't know how to rate this one exactly, as it's such an unusual appearance. But for something that is supposed to remind you of a Hi-C drink, it's perfect.

S: Wheat, a bit husky, tart and lactic, citrus fruit and rind, tangerines, restrained sourness.

T: Lactic tart, oranges and kiwis, sour, and wheat with just a touch of graininess. Dry and tart on the finish.

M: Light body, carbonation sensation on the low side, and essentially no alcohol presence.

O: This was really tasty, although I think I liked the earlier batch (on tap at Paul's Sour Fest) a bit better. Still, such a different appearance and a nice reminder of old school lunchbox lunches.

On tap at Peg's. Served in a snifter.

Appearance - Bright green and hazy. Looks great.

Smell - Bright citrus. Distinctly tangerine. Light acidity and bread.

Taste - Same intense tangerine. Very nice. Orange and light tartness. Simple, but tasty.

Mouthfeel - Light and well carbonated.

Overall - Simple and delicious.

A. Pours an electric green in the glass (Ecto Cooler!!!) with a half finger of white head. Lacing is faint and head dissipates before the session is complete.

S. Lime zest, hay, funk, mild cheese, lemon meringue.

T. Sweet and slightly tart lime up front, followed with more pronounced tartness and funk, resolving to a sweet, wheat finish with just a hint of pucker.

M. Slightly less carb than I'd prefer.

O. This is a very solid Berliner. A really cool color and nice showcase of lime. Certainly bears more than a passing resemblance to Ecto Cooler Kool Aid. They did a good job with this one, a nice nostalgic treat.
