This one pours a dark and creamy looking black color, with a small head, and no lacing.

This smells like a melted ice cream in a waffle cone- there's authentic strawberry, vanilla cake frosting, chocolate syrup, spicy oak, and caramel.

This is fairly absurd, honestly. There's very little actual rum character, and no heat at a few years old. It feels like melted ice cream, as there's just loads of creamy vanilla and milk sugar here. I get waffle cone, melted ganache, cream, and strawberry filling. Strawberry can be fake tasting in beer. Luckily, this is not. This is just lovely.

This is thick, creamy, and chewy, with a good level of drinkability. The beer was gone from the glass before I knew what happened.

This is possibly the best Cycle beer that I've ever had. It's certainly the best Neapolitan-inspired beer that I've ever tried.

650ml bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a dark cola brown body, fairly opaque and almost black. Also even has a bit of leg to it as well. Smell is rich neapolitan ice cream, with vanilla, chocolate and strawberries. It's about on the level of the original Rare Scooop as far as aroma goes. The rum lurks in the background, and it is distinctly different than the bourbon presence of the previous iteration. However, the flavour isn't quite there, as the boozy rum seems to overwhelm the notes of chocolate, caramel, strawberry and vanilla. It never quite comes around and makes a complete revolution here as the original does. It becomes more of a boozy rum chocolate cake. Still pretty good, nevertheless. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly thinner than expected, but still substantial with a bit of rum heat on the finish. I think the rum overwhelms the adjuncts, which is saying a lot for the amount of adjuncts they would have had to put into this beer.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, blue session. Aroma is quite boozy with pungent liquor and some wood notes. Taste has some apple like esters, cacao, spicy alcohol and dark chocolate. Finish is more bitter with roasted malt notes.
