Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet chocolate notes with some huge cinnamon notes with some bourbon notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of huge sweet black chocolate notes with loads of cinnamon and some bourbon notes also perceptible. Body is full with oily like texture, good carbonation with some very faint alcohol notes. Superb pastry stout with some good balance for the style.

Dark brown pour with thin toffee lacing. Cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, light coffee on the nose. Taste follows the nose perfectly: cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, light coffee. No alcohol detected at all. Thick and viscois, slippery, sugary on the lips.

Very easy drinking. Fantastic beer.

This one pours a pretty dark black color, with basically no head, and no lacing.

This smells super pastry and super decadent- there's lots of vanilla, a touch of coffee, a hint of spice, very light bourbon, and a huge chocolatey fudge blast on the back end.

This is quite sweet, and I don't really get the cinnamon here much at all. That could have added some needed spice to balance this out. Despite the intense sweetness, this is still quite good, with silky and creamy vanilla, some nice sweet coffee and creamer, and a big blast of high quality chocolatey goodness on the back end.

This is medium bodied, not quite as thick as Cycle has paradoxically been lately, with a decent level of drinkability.

This isn't quite upper echelon Cycle, but it's still a decadent treat.

Could've been great, but I think it's the cinnamon that's causing a somewhat acrid bitter flavor and linger, which sort of ruins the beer. Or at least my enjoyment of it.

Every sip I'm wishing I had some other flavor to counteract it so I can enjoy the rest of the way the beer tastes.

Good but the cinnamon takes over. A ton of chocolate on the nose and way too much cinnamon on the taste.
