Viscous black body with virtually no head save a brown bubble island or two. Smell has huge cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon, but the peppers are very much lost in the wave of supporting bourbon. Taste is much the same, vanilla and cinnamon in particular stand out well from the pack, not as balanced as others from cycle. Feel is viscous, slightly boozy, rich, warm, and smooth.

Solid imperial stout with great unique flavors. Pours a deep, rich black opaque color with some tan head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of rich dark roast coffee, milk chocolate, malt, vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, cinnamon and some faint hot peppers. Taste follows the nose. I would have liked a stronger vanilla presence but I really had to strain to find it. Smooth, clean, mild mouthfeel that was just slightly sticky. Decent carbonation. A solid beer.

650ml bottle, snifter glass. Darker brown body, opaque, nearly black, one finger offwhite head. Cinnamon, mild pepper, milk chocolate, a bit of whiskey, light oak, touch of vanilla. Medium bodied, solid carbonation, silky smooth. It has a mild peppery heat, but not over the top spicy by any means- and I'm fairly sensitive to spicy heat. The vanilla helps smooth it out a bit, and there is a nice chocolate background to it.

Bottle: Poured a deep pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some vanilla, light cinnamon and some bourbon notes with subtle chili notes. Taste is a nice mix of chocolate notes with some vanilla notes, some bourbon notes with just enough chiles notes to make things more interesting. Body is full with good carbonation. Another flavorful stout form this fine brewery.
