Pours black with ruby edges; super fast fizzy reddish brown head; white coconut flecks/floaties; no ring no lace no retention; thick sheeting on the glass slowly produces thick gloppy legs post swirl (impressive!). Coconut, bourbon, fudge brownie nose on opening bottle; coffee notes as liquid warms in snifter. Chocolate fudge ganache, sweet chocolate icing; vanilla, toasted coconut with a chocolate covered coffee bean candy middle; some bourbon on the backend with a creamy fudge finish. Syrupy viscous feel; full body; moderate minus carbonation; dry oaky barrel finish; mild warmth from (?) ABV, with some face flushing from alcohol; velvety tongue coating. Not a pretty beer (but those legs!), nevertheless, overall a sweet, syrupy chocolate delight with good balance; the fudge is ever present, but the sugar is not cloying; the coconut and coffee (at almost a year out!) are tasty and more than bit players in this ensemble; the bourbon actually takes a backseat, yet it’s presence is a most welcome addition/participant; another impressive winner from Cycle.

Viscous and syrupy black body with no head, reminiscent of bcbs. Smell has rich chocolate fudge, dark roast coffee, with coconut, vanilla, and bourbon barrel in the back ground, wish it was a bit more defined, but nitpicking. Taste is delicious, let's get that right, huge fudgey bourbon with waves of dark coffee, coconut and wood here and there on the finish especially, and a nice vanilla and brown sugar combo to keep it bright. Feel is sticky, syrupy and smooth. Goes down so easily, a sweat treat. The wife loved it

2019 vintage; drank 4/5/19 @ Yuss Haus Mach III.

A nice enough stout, but the coconut, cocoa & coffee all tasted more like syrup additions than actual coconut, coffee or coffee.

I have no idea how they brew these, so I'm not claiming that's what they did, but that was the effect I got.

Not one I'll track down.

poured from a bomber into an oversized snifter. pours dark black with dark brown swirls in the middle. smell is whiskey sting followed by sweet chocolate. the coffee and coconut are quite subtle on the nose. taste is coconut covered bourbon chocolates. do not get much coffee but it hardly matters. tastes amazing. feel is full with lower carbonation. slick and sticky. this is the second of the 2019 series that has advertised coffee where i did not get much coffee but this is still delicious. i’m actually quite pleased at the non-pastry stout qualities of this pastry stout. more sweet chocolate and subtle coconut with great barrel characteristics. not at all overly sugary sweet like one might initially think.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing. These all look the same.

This smells like toasted and caramelized coconut, hazelnut coffee, high quality dark chocolate, and spice.

This is a super classic Cycle ingredients list, and of course, it's very nice. Cycle just knows how to nail coconut goodness. It's toasty and sweet and bold, and melds incredibly well with the sweet but roasty coffee here. It's a chocolate milkshake underneath all that, with just a hiiint of barrel.

This is thick - probably the thickest of the week this year. It's still quite drinkable and awesome, though, with a wonderfully creamy feel to it.

As coconut and Cycle goes, this isn't quite the liquid monstrosities that Joyous Almond or Cocodamia were. However, it is still top notch coconut freakiness.
