Pours black with ruby edges; super fast fizzy reddish brown head; white coconut flecks/floaties; no ring no lace no retention; thick sheeting on the glass slowly produces thick gloppy legs post swirl (impressive!). Coconut, bourbon, fudge brownie nose on opening bottle; coffee notes as liquid warms in snifter. Chocolate fudge ganache, sweet chocolate icing; vanilla, toasted coconut with a chocolate covered coffee bean candy middle; some bourbon on the backend with a creamy fudge finish. Syrupy viscous feel; full body; moderate minus carbonation; dry oaky barrel finish; mild warmth from (?) ABV, with some face flushing from alcohol; velvety tongue coating. Not a pretty beer (but those legs!), nevertheless, overall a sweet, syrupy chocolate delight with good balance; the fudge is ever present, but the sugar is not cloying; the coconut and coffee (at almost a year out!) are tasty and more than bit players in this ensemble; the bourbon actually takes a backseat, yet it’s presence is a most welcome addition/participant; another impressive winner from Cycle.

Viscous and syrupy black body with no head, reminiscent of bcbs. Smell has rich chocolate fudge, dark roast coffee, with coconut, vanilla, and bourbon barrel in the back ground, wish it was a bit more defined, but nitpicking. Taste is delicious, let's get that right, huge fudgey bourbon with waves of dark coffee, coconut and wood here and there on the finish especially, and a nice vanilla and brown sugar combo to keep it bright. Feel is sticky, syrupy and smooth. Goes down so easily, a sweat treat. The wife loved it
