On-tap at a few places throughout Barcelona.

Pours a clear straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.

Smells of pilsner malts with good amounts adjunct sweetness. While still cold mild amounts of earthy hops temper the sweetness a bit however they fade as it warms.

Tastes a bit better than it smells. Pilsner malts and sweet adjunct flavors kick things off however the adjuncts don't have quite as much influence as they did in the nose. Midway through the sip earthy hop flavors make a brief appearance, carrying through to a mildly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is OK. It's a bit on the thin side with prickly carbonation.

Drinkability is also OK. I finished my glass without any problems however I'm not sure about another.

Overall this was far from a good beer but I think it can make the argument that it's average, especially for the style.

Light yellow color with a thin head.
Aroma with notes of glucose and apple puree.
Flavor with notes of apples, lager yeast, earth hops and minerals. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation
Interesting industrial Lager with a flavor of its own.

Very poor beverage from spain. This tells us to drink wine on the iberian peninsula. Quickly disappearing head, no malts nor hops. Taste like a China beer made from rice like Bud light

It’s an ok beer kind of like Budweiser original with a bit more malted feel and bitterness. I trued it out of the bottle.

A skunky pint for sure. It's like a slightly better corona. Its bitter and a bit hoppy.

On tap at Restaurante Lanterna Velha - Carvoeiro, Portugal
L: clear golden body, foamy white head
S: pale malt, cereal grain, grassy hops
T: typical mass produced adjunct lager flavors; cereal grain, corn perhaps, grassy hops
F: light body, moderate carbonation, sweeter finish with some lingering blah-ness
O: about as expected for the style, but good enough to go with a seafood dinner

Amazing clarity, golden tan, zero head retention. The aroma is reminiscent of musty hops, faded and slightly grainy. Crisp when cold, while cold. Decent.

Drinking this out of nostalgia as I used to enjoy a San Miguel on a hot summer day. Appearance is brassy golden with a very thin white head. Smell is adjunct malts, it's very sweet smelling. Taste isn't that bad. It's slightly sweet with a hint of floral hops. Bit of honey as well. It's rounded out with cracker malts. Honestly, it's way better than a lot of American adjuncts and even many of the popular European pale lagers.
