Light brown color (dark amber) and clear. Excellent, chunky ring lace after the first sip. Spots thereafter.
More hop to the nose than expected--this is a hoppy Amber. Mildly toasted malts (crystal most likely) round out the nose.
Smooth and lots of carbonation. The flavor mimics the aroma. The toasted malts are more strong on the tongue, but the hop doesn't hold back either. Bitter swallow and aftertaste.
