May 2014: 350 ml can, ABV 5.5%, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, loads of exotic and tropical fruits. Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, not too dry. Moderate malts and plenty of fruity hops, but the bitterness is still very moderate. Again notes of exotic fruits. Easy drinking. Another potential "summer hit" from Japan.

Pours a brilliant golden amber with moderate carbonation and a modest head that dissipates quickly. The nose is pleasantly sweet and biscuity with hints of citrus. Evident Belgian lace. Medium body with pleasant bitter notes and a nice lingering.

Pours a white head with a mix of smoothness and rockyness. The color is a mostly clear pale amber color. The lacing gets bored after a few seconds and slumps to the bottom of the glass.
The nose is citrus and floral with a noticable fruity sweetness, like a cheap jam. A bit biscuity.
Tastes buiscuity. Floral and citris hop notes are present as well. The front end is loaded pretty heavilly with malt sweetness, which has a cheap jam note too it (maybe apricot) that gives way to a pleasant woodsy bitterness. The bitterness would invite further sipping in a superior pale ale, but is a bit wasted here.
The mouthfeel is a little bit aqueous. The carbonation is a bit weak.
This is another Yo-Ho beer that I've spent time with in the past, whose stateside pricetag does not justify a purchase. The more I drink it, the more coying the sweetness in this beer gets. Definetly recomend going for a more fairly priced domestic APA over this brew.
