A strawberry beer wherein you can actually taste strawberry. Sounds ridiculous but honestly somewhat of a rarity as most strawberry beers dont cary the flavor well. Its light, crisp, just a light punch of salt and appropriately boozed up at 6.5% Great beer for a warm day

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of strawberries are present in the nose along with a touch of sourness.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a little sour with stronger flavors of strawberries and hints of yogurt-like flavors.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has a nice amount of strawberry flavors in the taste. It is very easy to drink.

Ale with sea salt, coriander, and strawberry puree. Poured from a can into a Woodburn tulip. The pour is dark gold in color with a very, very faint hint of red and sports an impressive head for a sour beer. I get some lemon, green apple, and wine-like notes on the nose, but overall it's very faint.

Light body with a firm feel and a tart, refreshing flavor. I don't get much strawberry on the nose, but there is a littler on the palate. There are also some fruity tart flavors as well as a hint of sweetness and subtle salinity. The beer is incredibly refreshing and not at all unpleasantly sour. I would happily offer this beer to an open-minded person who is unfamiliar with sours or who claims that they don't care for them.

The 'ole traditional Northern German styled sour wheat ale thought it had enough flavor, complexity and uniqueness all on its own. But that classic style of beer never saw this coming... Strawberry. Along with the common spice of coriander and sea salt, this garden variety fruit adds a flavor to the beer that's anything but garden variety.

Pinkish gold and carrying a typical wheaten haze, Strawberry Gose teases the nose with a dip into its light ivory froth with a tease of citrus, a taunt of spice and an invigorating sour scent with red berries creating whimsy and charm. Light sweetness greets the tongue with notions of pulled candy, saltwater taffy and a kiss of pastry.

Sweetness and breadiness drifts away effortlessly as the middle palate is a full transition over to sourness. Brisk, lemony, lime-like, with green apple, white grape and gooseberries showering the tastebuds with acidity, the ale slowly lures in the strawberry character for a taste that hinges on cranberry and rhubarb as well. A rounded salinity brings a sea-like brine to the late palate while the bright and tangy prefume of citronella offers one last jolt of complexity.

Medium bodied for sour ale, the wheat isn't all lost. It makes a return on the after palate while the brunt of sourness drives home a highly refreshing, thirst quenching and effortless taste on the finish. Hints of burlap come in late and remind the senses of the beer's probiotic roots. It brings the taste of Liepzig to the threshold of the American South.
