This triple chocolate stout is a unique interpretation of the style, combining three different chocolate malts, cacao nibs and 63 percent semi-sweet chocolate, creating a sinfully delicious brew. The addition of blackstrap molasses produces an earthy, caramelized tone in an already complex flavor profile. It's creamy, milkshake-like mouthfeel earns this beer the reputation of being dessert in glass.

A bit apprehensive of trying these arcadia ales with this much age on them. 7% is a touch iffy.
Opens with a strong "pppshh" and pours a nice tall tan head. Solid legs on this and especially good at 7%. This beer seems a bit thicker than the 7% would indicate.
The aroma is that of sour. This reminds me a lot of the big dick ale I have had recently. My fear is this is a sign the beers have gone bad, but part of me feels this flavor is too similar. Perhaps a similar yeast or something along those lines. There is a faint coco finish to indicate that this is a stout after all.
A sweet/sour strong sour ale like malt opens this beer. Followed by subtle coco and faint chocolate malt. I don't pick up on any lactose effects or the molasses that's supposed to be in this one. After heating the beer up running hot water against the glass, the beer has taken on some more stout like characteristics. An almost sickeningly sweet malt mixes with cocoa flavors that aren't strong or bitter enough to even try and balance things out. No burnt malt flavors what so ever leaves this beer impressively unenjoyable. I can't imagine this was ever a good beer, there just aren't even remnants of one remaining.
This is a drain pour without question. I want to try this fresh but it seems all I see lately are 3-5 year old bottles of Arcadia's beers and they are showing up new to the stores. I have no idea if there's some weird issue with Kentucky's distribution chains or what. Either way I'm skeptical to blame this beer completely on the age considering all their beers seem to give off this odd flavor.

12 oz bottle. Pours black and highly carbonated, with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet molasses and bitter chocolate. Flavor is very chocolaty with a slight boozy bite, which is a surprise as this is not especially high ABV.

A - Pours a dark chocolate color.
S - Aroma is slightly sweet with a hint of coconut.
T - Flavor is coconut and chocolate with a sweet finish.
M - Nicely carbonated, but a little to thin for me.
O - Overall this is nice. I'll drink it again but doubt I'll buy it.

12oz bottle, no date. Pours hazy brownish black with a medium sized tan head. Smells of cocoa, vanilla, hops, and spice; low intensity. The taste follows exactly with lightly roasted malt, cocoa, hops, and spice; very straightforward and lacking richness. Thin body and average carbonation for the style. Overall, this has a fairly weak cocoa profile contrary to the name and lacks intensity in general. There are better stout offerings on the shelf.

The name sucked me in but wow what a disappointment it's more like an over carbonated budlight that someone added chocolate syrup to. Definitely not a stout in the traditional sense. So they added the chocolate syrup to a watered down lager and unfortunately the only thing it did was darken said watered down lager and left a slight cocoa flavor the packaging said molasses and lactose and creamy and etc etc you lied to me and it was expensive like $10 for a 4pk which is what'd id gladly pay for any decent craft beer but not dark watery thin Swiss miss lager. Rant over

Looks thin, smells like nothing, tastes okay but redeems itself here by having a slightly peppery taste that I'm not sure wasn't brewed with, and feel was creamy while thin
Overall, pay me to try this again because i won't on my own accord.
