Notes: Motörhead, Camerons Brewery, and Global are proud to announce that Röad Crew is officially coming to the USA and being brewed by Arcadia Brewing Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This American IPA will sit around 6.2% ABV, a crushable hop-forward India Pale Ale with attitude that showcases a floral and citrusy hop character with just the right amount of malt sweetness. Röad Crew beer is perfect for all rock, beer and hop heads and goes down especially well whilst listening to Motörhead at a wonderfully obscene, lawn-killing volume.

Meh, good beer. This one reminded me a lot of Tree Beard by Arbor. I only drank this one because it is named after one of my favorite Rock N Roll bands. This one is just a straight ahead flavor profile with a solid hop back bone!

12oz bottle into a pint glass. NO freshness dating, but was released sometime in the summer, so maybe 6 months or so old.

hazy, pale, golden/amber body. Big white fluffy head leaving very good lacing. Several fast streams of carbonation.

Faintly floral on the nose.

At this age, as others have said , this comes off more as an English style iPa, decently balanced. A little bitey on the tongue at times.

Mouth between medium and full. Finish slightly dry, with a little sour bitterness.

Overall, I re-reviewed this beer as the first one I tried came off extremely perfumey. Subsequent beers from the same six pack were much better. I still maintain that If you're going to honor Lemmy and the lads with a beer, make it a rum barrel aged imperial stout brewed with coke.

Pour into a British pint glass. Served at 57.1 F
L- Inch thick foamy head quickly settles to a thin Lacey blanket leaving behind nice lacing
Nice dark gold in colour
S - butter, sweet, earthy, cracker - if you're looking for a citrusy, tropical nose, this ain't it homey.
T - malty, with a tad of earthy hop bitterness. Some slight cracker - like taste, buttery. Finished on a wee hop bitterness note. No sense of alcohol, Finishes clean.
F - low carbonation, medium bodied, no filminess, very clean.
O - super tasty and spot on for an English Pale Ale. Can't believe the label reads American IPA. This brew is an outstanding example of the English style. Its my hope that this style makes a comeback with US Brewers. I would buy cases of this if I could, it's a nice break from current styles. I'm sick of the grapefruit, orange, tropical citrus fad. Thanks Arcadia! Cheers.

A crisp, refreshing, albeit boring, American style IPA. It's smooth and pretty nice on the tongue, just uninspired and not very interesting. Like the packaging , but the beer is just craft beer C+

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, woody, light peppercorn/pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, woody, light peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, citrus peel/rind, woody, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great; light lingering resins/rinds after the finish. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is a delicious English IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Great balance of juicy/earthy US/UK hops, English yeast, and bready English malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Purchased a single for around 3 dollars listed as an American IPA rather than the pale ale.
A - Deep amber yellow color with just a 1/4 inch of foam that settles to a good lace ring.
S - Smells like a decent IPA more citrus leaf hops and some tea leaves. Kind of English but it's an American IPA...
T - Not bad it actually has a good balance of hops to malt again has the tea leaf thing going which makes me think it's an English IPA not American. Smooth bitter finish.
M - Medium body and easy to crush.

Overall not something I would run out and get again but a pretty decent gimmick beer.
