Pour this White IPA in a tall glass to showcase its hazy, golden color and dense, creamy head. Rapunzel’s up-front blast of aromatic hops ushers your palate into a balance of crisp, sweet, malt character and lush, juicy hop flavors of pineapple, citrus, and lemongrass. The tart wheat character and effervescent carbonation accent Rapunzel’s light, elegant body while the waves of hop flavor ensure you that you’re drinking a well-crafted brew.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy white head, aromas of wheat, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat and light citrus with a smooth finish.

Served at 38d in a rinsed glass, both pours so far look awesome out of the bottle. Great head (thats what she said). On the tongue it has a bit of a copper metal like finish. Somewhat light and clear in color for a Wheat Ale.

Poured into a New Belgium tulip glass a hazy golden hue with a 1/4 head and minimal lacing. A hint of pine and lemongrass in the aroma. Well carbonated with a thin mouth feel, pineapple and lemongrass flavors up front with a dry, bitter finish. I've had beers in this style I liked much more than this one.

Pours bright gold with visible carbonation and lacing on the side and surface. Head is small and dissipates quickly. Big citrusy hop smell. I've brewed hoppy wheat beers and the taste is along the lines of what I'd expect from the "style". Some citrusy hops notes and wheat notes (bananas/cloves) up front. And that's actually the taste the whole way through the finish. Lingering strong hop bitterness in the finish, which raises some scores. Overall it's a strong attempt at a difficult style (any wheat beer that isn't a traditional German). This is unique and good- try it.
