Bottle at RBSG. Pours with a faint pink body and tiny airy head. Aroma is nice fresh berry berries, jelly jar wit some tartness evident. Taste follows this pattern, some of the wood barrel evident too. Just tart enough.

The appearance was of a light reddish-orange color with a somewhat thin yet lasting head. The aroma combined sweet blackberry with a touch of barnyard funk. A nice blend of blackberry sweetness and tartness wita very pleasant sourness soothed the taste buds. Medium body; sharp and tart.
This taste came from a bottle shared by a neighbor. This was a welcome and very tasty, nicely balanced sour.

Nice blend of the saison with blackberry. Not overly sour but the fruit shines through nicely. One of the better Casey beers I've had.

Thanks to dujayhawk for sending this one! Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from the 750 mL bottle into an El Catador teku glass. Consumed 11/7/16.
A: Purplish and/or reddish brown with a mild haze. A good amount of visible carbonation and a thin off-white head that fades away fairly quickly.
S: Funk – Lactobacillus, Brettanomyces, and I think some Pediococcus - feet, barnyard, mild cheese. Tart acids. Oak tannins seem vinous and dry. Underripe acidic berries and lactic tartness. Very nice.
T: Big tart blackberries up front. Lacto funk - feet and basement. Lactic acid tartness, and dried out with oak tannins. Slight cracker malt sweetness in the middle, then snowed under with more tart and funk. A lingering dry acidic berry after the swallow.
M: A light body, with carbonation sensation on the low side and no alcohol presence to speak of.
O: Really enjoyable. It drinks more like an AWA than a saison - acidic, and more Lacto funk than barnyard or earthy funk. But a nice fruit and oak balance as well. I really need to get some more stuff from these guys.

This one pours a light reddish-purplish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like sweet and jammy blackberry, with a light soft acidity, grape, oak, and wine.
This is a perfect representation of Blackberry, as there's a nice balance between sweet and sour, but the base beer and all it's attendant funk are there. I get a lot of citrusy lemon brett goodness, too, with some light wine and oakiness as well.
This is light bodied, clean and super refreshing, with a good level of carbonation and a high level of drinkability.
Casey makes just about the best fruited sours in the country at this point. This is wonderful.
