750ml cork and caged bottle, blend 1: labeled 8 month East Bank, bottled 3/28/2015. Served in a teku glass.

Pours a hazy lighter yellow body, not unlike the Oak Theory that was opened shortly thereafter. Two finger white head, short retention, a bit of lacing. Beautiful beer that looks well, quite a bit light and creamy in appearance. Smells of lemon, a bit of leather, fair bit of oak, mild grainy sweetness, tart lactic acid, a bit of funk that keeps building up as the beer warms and opens up. This translates to a very complex flavour, lots of tartness to it, not necessarily vinegar but it's quite tart. Oak, leather, musty grapes, lemon, a little bit of that distinct dry wooden basement Casey house flavour. Very nice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy carbonation, dry and quite refreshing. Finish is a mixture of sweet grain and tart lactic acid. This is a bigger, more complex version of East Bank with more tartness and musty oak than usual.
