750ml bottle $25? Pink hue, bubbly but not much head. Smells like brettanomyces and slightly tangy. Flavor is slightly tart, not a lot of fruit or honey for that matter. I was not a fan of East Bank so no surprise I wasn't wowed by this, not sure why I bought it.

bottled on 3/8/16 enjoyed 4/9/16

A - This was a lovely looking orange/reddish color. In the light was a nice hazy orange, but without holding it up to a light source one would say it appears to be red in color. Soft pour, small white head.
S - Mainly dominated by the lactic/funk, very subtle hints of sweetness from the honey, very subtle blackberry smell
T - One of the best balances of tart/funk/sour flavor I've had so far. The honey and blackberry I didn't pick up on that much even after letting warm to room temp which was disappointing but the overall sour/tart balance is perfect. My palate is not so advanced so that could be it, but i did not have any lingering fruit or honey flavor like one would expect from this type of beer.
M - to me this has the ideal amount of carbonation but I'm an extreme novice to these types of beer. It was carbonated but it didn't prick your tongue at all and left the palate ever so gently. Casey truly makes some wonderful beers
O - Honestly I think i went into this expecting more and was disappointed. It obviously is an extremely great beer but I thought the honey and blackberry would shine through much more but they didn't. They were very light on the palate if even noticeable at all. I opened a bottle of RDG by Cantillon right after( a 2 year old bottle at that) and I know it's wrong to compare beers but at two years old the RDG was bursting with raspberry flavor while not being jammy but this one I could barely detect any fruit at all. It's still an amazing beer but I don't think I would pick up again just because it is extremely pricey in my novice and noob opinion.
