A little darker beer than I expect for an APA. This is definitely NOT an IPA being disguised as an APA. Hops are subtle and the body is light, but good to style. Very well done beer.

Has a hazy golden color, nothing special. Smells like a regular AAL. It tastes like a Miller High Life with a little more malt. The malty slightly sour/stale aftertaste does no favors either. Not a good beer.

12 oz can, no date. Poured into wide mouthed ploughshare glass.

Dark amber orange with a fluffy head of 2 fingers. Lots of hilly lace left behind as the head recedes.

Some interesting sharp spicy grass and evergreen on the nose, white bread, onion, feet, slight tangerine peel.

Flavor brings some clean citrus peel flavors (lime, grapefruit), slight onion, some caramel malt, arm pit, lemon, lemon cleaner, slight spicy white pepper. Remaining flavors of hop resin, sulphur, caramel malt, and onion.

Feel is crisp foremost, with slight acidity, with lots of resins hanging on afterwards.

Overall, definitely more in line with an old school IPA, tons of caramel and onion. A far cry from the new world hops and "tropical fruits and citrus" listed on the can!

Nice hazy golden color with an off white head that settles into a sparse cap but with nice webby lacing.

The aroma is bready, touch of honey. The hops are not distinct, slightly fruity.

The taste is of a grassy and pine hop. Some onion. Big bready malt.

The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Sweet on the palate to start but finishes quite bitter. Bit chalky in the finish.

A hop forward APA. A bit dank and heavy for my liking.

Very good APA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. Big frothy head, with excellent retention. Thick rings of frothy lacing. Aroma and taste are mild hops and bready malt with a little lemon. Taste is nicely balanced between bready malt and mild citrus hops. Tasty and understated. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly bitter and rich. A good Pale Ale, not trying to be an IPA hop bomb.

Little bit darker beer than I typically like very happy good lacing some citrusy notes but not too overpowering the happiness overtakes just about everything though if you like that good for you
