L: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a bright, golden yellow color and a slightly cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. No lacing to speak of.

S: A very muted aroma of wheat, bananas, bubblegum, and cloves.

T: Tasted of a bit of bananas (kind of fleeting), some of the typical hefeweizen bubblegum (oddly, mostly in the finish), a good amount of malt (present throughout - a major factor), and a hint of cloves as well. Not a bad flavor, as such, but definitely on the thin side. All the ingredients are there, they're just muted.

F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.

O: A definitely uneven beer, but it has its good qualities.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a dull light yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is wheat and cloves. The taste follows the nose.

Good hefeweizen. Poured from a 16 oz can into an Aventinus Weizen glass. Dull straw yellow color, slightly hazy with lots of carbonation, fizzy white head that fades fairly fast. Some good lacing. Strong aroma: cloves, wheat, yeast...solid hefe all the way. Taste is similar. Good wheat bitterness and all the hefeweizen flavors are there. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and refreshing. Some tartness and wheat bitterness. Revelry nailed this style.
