Shared bottle with a January 2016 bottling date.

Flavor: Hint of marshmallows, vanilla and dark chocolate. The chocolate builds in the aftertaste. Lightly sweet all the way to the finish where it turns slightly bitter.

Excellent feel.

Overall: well done.

L: Had this beer on-tap, poured into a pint glass at Revelry's tasting room. Had a black color and a thick texture. There was a small amount of foamy, off white head that lasted a short amount of time. Good lacing.

S: A slightly underpowered aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee.

T: Tasted of roasted malt, some chocolate, light coffee notes, and dark fruit (raisins, perhaps?). The problem with the flavor, like the aroma, is that it isn't aggressive or powerful enough. Not a fundamentally bad flavor, but not pushed far enough. Note: You have the option to have this served with graham cracker on the rim of the glass, along with a toasted marshmallow. I opted out of that one.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a super dry finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is one of those beers that was almost good. Not bad, but forgettable,
