This is a monster of a Double. Big, hearty, and it's got girth. Huge tropical fruit taste and aroma converge in this beer with an abundance of Galaxy hops in the blend. Easy smooth drinking for an 8.2% beer. And no flying bugs.

My first IIPA from NEBCO, and it did not disappoint. Pours a orange gold color, a bit cloudy with a nice white head. Lots of tropic fruit in the nose, oranges, pineapple. Taste follows the nose, loaded with tropic fruit but has a slight bitter taste in the finish. A great beer!

11/20/21 Canned 11/15. Wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Perfect dry bracing bitterness. Dank Galaxy. A sleeper. Buy more. A fav.

Just the right amount of flavor. Not too light, not too heavy.

L: Pours a pale to deep gold color with a medium haze. A gentle pour yields three fingers of pillowy, white head with good retention. As the beer goes down it leaves a mass of ringed and webbed lacing on the glass.
S: Tropical and citrus aromas abound. I get mango, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, orange, herbal dankness, notes of pine, and a light (almost imperceptible next to the hops) grainy malt character.
T: Not as tropical as the nose would suggest. I get grapefruit, bitter grapefruit pith, caramel malt character, bitter pine resin, dank herbal notes, and oranges, As the beer warms I begin to perceive a light over-ripe to rotten tropical fruit character (mango and papaya) and a very light grainy malt character. This one has a good bracing bitterness mixing with just a bit of juiciness, but the bitterness wins out.
F: This has a medium-full body with medium to medium-high carbonation. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with an assertive dryness on the finish that brings you back for another drink.
O: This one is a winner. Probably one of my favorites DIPAs from Nebco up there with Supersupernaut, Gandhibot, and Double Fuzzy.
