Picked up a growler of this before I visited my girlfriend's parents in Delaware along with Supernaut right around Easter. Figured I would bring a nice variety. Poured inky black with a decent tan head that left great lacing. Pure chocolate and coffee on the aroma, mostly roasted malts. Great balance of flavor for 6.5%, roasted malt front and center, chocolate in the middle, and bitter char and hops at the end. Feel is thick and smooth, but a little too clingy. Overall a great stout.

Not sure why this brew does not rate higher here. I absolutely loved it, even after the growler sat in my fridge for 5 weeks. A very solid stout, IMHO. Nice work, NEBCO!

Pours a dark brown with a coffee colored head that trailed the glass. The smell was a bit subtle but had some light coffee scents with some floral notes as well. The taste was nice with bitter hops coming in first with floral flavors and then slowly deepening into coffee flavors from the toasted malts. Liked it a lot but felt it was a bit thin.
