An imperial version of the Single Hop IPA brewed exclusively with the beloved Citra hop- lots more of them- which produces flavors of mango, papaya and citrus that is balanced by a biscuity malt finish

Growler fill(!) from Brewers Tap and Table in Waltham, MA. Not too dissimilar from the OG Fuzzy Baby Ducks but with more oomph. Citrus pith and zest dominate the nose with a light biscuity malt character and no boominess to speak of. The biscuity character continues in the flavors, lending a rustic, drying note to an otherwise hoppy citra onslaught. Citra isn't the most interesting hop for me, but this does taste like the prototypical old school NEIPA in the Heady Topper school.

Off the draft, this beer puts most beers to shame. Bright and forward smell, followed by a dank and fruity taste. This beer is on one to be missed.

A bit underwhelmed... Limited froth... Modest haze... Pleasant tropical aroma... Palate starts sweet before finished with metallic notes... On the lighter side of medium bodied... Smooth and sleek... Goes down easily... Not bad, but not sure this one is worth the lofty rating...

5/4/22 Picked up a case at NEBCO. Citra double. Dank, citrus & pine. Great herbaceous bitterness. Torpedo +. Great beer.
