22 oz can poured into a speigelau ipa glass canned on 4/24

A: big Soapy white head with big bubbles that laces the glass nicely as it recedes. Body is a light amber burnished gold with just a slight haziness.

S: lots of grapefruit and tangerine interlaced with melon and lemon and grass with a solid light caramel malt running throughout.

T: a lot less flavor than the nose would suggest. Everything is very muted. Light bits of orange tangerine with very light melon and a little maltiness.

M: medium bodied decent carbonation nice body for an IPA.

O: This is an odd beer, it’s like everything was dialed down to 0 in the flavor but the nose absolutely pops. Actually the more I drink it the more I’m enjoying it. It’s a nice beer.

A very solid local IPA , is it the best no from CT but definitely top 10 id say. Has a great strong flavor but not overbearing, a heavier beer but doesnt fill you up like a full meal. Worth a try if your a fan of smooth IPA's.

Decanted from a 12 oz (354 ml) can into a conical pint glass; production date 12/26/2017.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, light copper color with robust head formation (>1 inch), strong retention, and solid lacing. Solid means rings and rings of foamy lace all the way down.
S: Aromas of (grapefruit) citrus and pine blend nicely with the caramel maltiness. Has a clean, "walking in a winter woods" quality.
T: The taste follows the nose to a degree: caramel and piney bitterness seem a little more outsized compared to the nose, but offset each other well. Drinks extremely well with a clean finish.
M: Medium bodied with excellent retention of carbonation.
O: This is really a well designed and eminently drinkable American IPA. Somewhat ironically not a NEIPA, but who can quibble when the flavor is that good.

When I don't know what to order at the bar this is my go to. Solid IPA, never disappoints.
