I've heard several people say that this is their "Go To" beer. If you were on a desert island and only had one beer to drink for the next 10 years, this would be it. Very drinkable. You won't get tired of it.

Can to becher pint glass, the appearance was a burnt orange to dark copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Lace was there, strewn about and sticking slightly but then sliding at a fair pace as the beer continued to warm.
The aroma had a nice blend of soft sweet clean caramel malts brushing against some citrusy and piney hops. Moderate earthiness dedicated itself to the blend as it warmed.
The flavor leaned sweet blending the hops to the malts nicely and guiding this blend right on into a nice clean aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt great. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, that "old school" type of AIPA that should be sought out by beer geeks in general. Of course, IPA lovers should give this one a go.

Pours deep orange with a nice white one finger head. Fades quickly with nice lacing. Aroma of grass, hops and citrus. Taste follows the nose with Carmel and papaya. Very nice IPA. First one from New England brewery. Look forward to more from them.

Had this on Tap at Prime 16 in New Haven. The beer had a clear, amber appearance with a medium-thick white head. Aromas included a nice, grassy hops flavor mixed with caramel malts. Taste followed the nose with a nice, balanced, citrus sweet beer. The carbonation was decent, giving the beer a good crisp texture. Overall, a generally good beer, especially in the taste category.

Medium orange hue, nice a frothy head. Great lacing. Notes of caramel and grassiness, subtle hop aroma with a sweet malt background. Taste matches the aroma. Slightly too malty for my tastes, but the hop profile balances it out slightly. Pretty good.
