Had this on Tap at Prime 16 in New Haven. The beer had a clear, amber appearance with a medium-thick white head. Aromas included a nice, grassy hops flavor mixed with caramel malts. Taste followed the nose with a nice, balanced, citrus sweet beer. The carbonation was decent, giving the beer a good crisp texture. Overall, a generally good beer, especially in the taste category.

Medium orange hue, nice a frothy head. Great lacing. Notes of caramel and grassiness, subtle hop aroma with a sweet malt background. Taste matches the aroma. Slightly too malty for my tastes, but the hop profile balances it out slightly. Pretty good.

Look- A soft pour left a plentiful amount of a foamy white head to it with an orange with a hint of brown body.
Smell- Leaves my nose full of citrus smells.
Taste- A lot of pine with subdued traces of citrus, this is ironic because of the smell being a Dr. Jekyll to this Mr. Hyde taste.
Feeling - After leaving it in my mouth for a moment the alcohol is felt with a slight tickle in it. But after swallowing the sip the kick is minimal.

Fresh can poured into fluted snifter.

Orange/amber, slightly hazy, thick foamy white head.

A bit of citrus aroma and some crackery malt. Earthy, grassy, pine.

Bit of malt sweetness, lemon rind, grapefruit, grassy, bitterness bites the tongue a bit.

Makes a foamy beer. All pours ended up foamy from multiple cans/people. Moderate carbonation and medium body.

Overall a nice brew, good because its available easily and reasonably priced.

Beer is a slightly hazy amber. Nice ivory head. Aroma is assertive fir, with some biscuit and orange hints. Taste more or less follows the nose. Some malt up front quickly gives way to a pleasantly bitter hop finish with fir and orange rind. The mouthfeel is good. It's nicely carbonated with a dry finish. Overall, not over-the-top, but a really solid IPA.

12 oz. can

Pours foggy hazy gold with a frothy white foam head. Smells like bready caramelized malts, floral grass, red grapefruit, tangerine, papaya, sweet guava, with earthy herbal resinous pine. Tastes like butterscotch, caramel malts, floral grass, grapefruit, tangerine, papaya, guava, with bitter earthy herbal resinous pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and slick with moderate carbonation. Overall a nice IPA.
