A: Very light straw/hay, reminiscent of the flesh of a lemon. Hazy, non-transparent. Bubbly, cream like head. Ok retention, but nice lacing.
S: This beer has a lot of aroma, especially when considering comps within style. Big fruity, spicy, hops, and malt notes. Pineapple, banana, lemon, coriander, graham cracker.
M: Light and effervescent. Very quaffable. Good mix of wet and dry sensations.
T: I'd put this up there with Captain Lawrence's Birra DeCicco Limone Luppolo as one of the best APWA I've had. This is slightly sweet, tart, hoppy, grainy, fruity at the same time. Superior complexity for such a light beer. Fruity notes come from hopping I believe, which gives the beer a very subtle lemon tartness to back up the flavors of banana, strawberry. Some pine flavor helps carry the flavor where it melds with graham cracker flavored wheat. Tastes like a very good hefeweizen with aggressive American hopping. I feel okay with getting this over a second growler of Gandhi.
