Poured from 12 oz. can into a tulip glass

A - A hazy yellow body with a foamy white head.

S - Yeasty odors dominate the nose - I pick up coriander, clove, and lemongrass.

T - Fruity and spicy esters are the first things to hit the tastebuds. Pear, banana, allspice, and even a bit of bubblegum are in the mix. Then comes a Belgian sugar cookie sweetness. The finish is fairly dry with a touch of acrid lemongrass and clove.

M - A fairly glutinous mouthfeel accompanied by a foamy carbonation.

O - Worth picking up if you visit the Constitution State. Humerous artwork on the cans will entertain party guests, too.

A: cloudy; golden colored; 1 finger white head that receded to a thin collar; nice Belgina lacing;

S: clove, black pepper, pear, perfume

T:follows the nose - a little more pepper and a little less clove; finish is moderately bitter and it's the clove that is there at the end;

M: medium bodied; effervescent;

O: smooth; hides the ABV pretty well;

Four-finger head that recedes in a lumpy fashion. It also leaves a decent dome. A bit cloudy with a dark, dirty gold color.

Grainy, raw barley smell. A bit of lemongrass. Some Belgian yeast nose as well.

Classic pale Belgian flavors: Some very pale malt, a good dollop of hop bitterness, the aforementioned yeast and a solid alcohol warmth, particularly in the swallow. Well-balanced. The body is as I would expect; the carbonation slightly above average.
