Poured from a growler into 668 tulip glass. Pale, hazy, golden-blonde in colour.

Smells of spices and yeast, with some wheat balanced by the slightest scent of sweet lemon/citrus.

Lots of citrusy sweet hops up front taste only the slightest bit bitter, as it transitions through light wheat malts to light spices and plenty of yeasty must on the finish; Which disguises the higher ABV very well -- this is very drinkable and tastes/feels light. It will sneak up on you.

The mouthfeel is lighter but close to the thicker side of things, and is somewhat oily.

Overall, this is a pretty great beer. I'm not particularly fond of the yeast profile, but it tastes good and goes down smooth.

Appearance - hazy gold body with white head

Smell - citrus - lemon, lime

Taste - lemon, lime, ginger, lemongrass, yeast

Mouthfeel - medium body, medium carbonation, citrus upfront, a tad sour/bitter in the finish

Can poured into a Jester King goblet.

A: Pours a hazy gold with over two fingers of beautiful head that leaves a beautiful lacing once it fades.

S: Typical belgian yeast smell, some banana notes, some lemon, some pepper.

T: Very grainy and grassy, some nice lemon and spice flavors that intermingle with a solid, biscuity malt backbone.

M: Lighter in body with a really nice, prickly carbonation. Very smooth and refreshing.

O: A very good pale belgian. Not my first choice in style, but I do like this very much. It's also much better than a certain other Maiden-nodding beer that shall remain nameless.
