500ml poured into tulip (just over 700 bottle release). Thanks to Knifestyles for hooking me up with more crazy awesome stuff.

A - Pours a cloudy orange to dark yellow. Lots of sediment in the bottom so the pour was slow. Very nice plateau head that is off white to almost light grey-ish.

S - Tequila, oak, pine, grass, some minor grains.

T - Interesting! It is a taste you sort of expect, given what you already know about the beer before you even try it, but it is different than you think. I have had regular Gandhi many times (again, many thanks to Knife) and you can pick up the nice citric fruits from the regular stuff, but this thing is dominated by tequila and wood. This is an odd combination as it is almost like watered down tequila, or a tequila shot was dropped in an amazing DIPA. Either way, I DIG this beer!

M - Some burning but overall decently smooth, medium

D - You have to see the novelty in this but I really enjoyed this one. Might not be the easiest to drink for some people to wrap their minds around, but it wasn't 'hard' to drink. Great experience.

An insanely gross beer that for some reason I keep taking more sips. Doesn't have that redonk tequila sting but has that tequila flavor sting. Bottom of the bottle is full of gunk that is making this thing look like a friggin protein shake....barrel turds. In any event, a fully but softly carbonated lime-tequila zest beverage that DDT's every slight inkling of its former self. Gotta tick it though.
whole bottle to the dome and lit

Fresh 500mL bottle # 272/1000 poured into Ghandi snifter.

A: hazy gold with a orange/tangerine hue and thin white head dissipates quickly and doesn't leave much lacing.

S: Smell is musty, oaky, slight tequila, and bitter citrusy hops

T: I've never had a beer aged in tequila barrels before but I would imagine that this stands as one of the best. It's a completely unique beer and the taste follows the smell for the most part. I'm tasting oak, vanilla, slight tequila, citrus, grapefruit, hops, and a slightly bitter finish which is balanced out smoothly.

M: Fairly light for 8.8%, low carbonation, has a little bit of an oily feel and a touch of bitterness but quite refreshing.

O: I have been waiting for more than a year to try this and have to say that I was not let down, the creativity and execution is beautifully delicious. I definitely recommend this beer for anyone who likes tequila and/or Ghandi Bot.
