Another classic nebco ipa. Was delighted to see that this is being made available for distribution throughout CT. Classic nebco build and body. Refreshingly crisp and medium bodied, with that mineral water mouthfeel. The ultra-quaffable body and quintessential nebco grainy malt flavor make this beer a pleasure to drink and it feels very familiar to me, akin to g-bot or seahag but with a different hop profile. First sip was tropical fruit. More pineapple than berry going on here IMO, maybe a bit more berry/stone fruit on the nose. Im getting a lot of sharply bitter pith and rind. I hesitate to say pine... but there is that familiar old school ipa vibe here. When aerated and slurped I'm getting more fruit/berry flavor but that tickley finish on the tongue has that skunk, funky, weedy west coast ipa thing going on. Im not sure if this is better than G-Bot but its certainly lighter in alcohol presence (sessionable). Glad to see another high quality, fairly priced nebco product on the shelves. Im almost shocked to see that this is a single hop ipa, there is so much shifting nuance and depth to the hop experience that you might not realize or believe it's coming entirely from Mosaic.

Appearance - Pours crystal clear golden color with a nice white head that settles to a thin cap. Lots of sticky lacing.

Aroma - Light mango and grains stand out right up front. Little orange, earthy hops and papaya nice sweet aroma.

Taste - Taste at first is a cross of orange and tangerine, toasted malts, grain, grassy hops. Really nice bitter citrus peel that lingers.

Feel - Medium bodied, nice carbonation hit of dryness on the finish.

Overall - Well done IPA, very different nose and taste how much the grains and earthy hops come out I love it.

Appearance is a dark orange color with a one finger head. Aroma isn't too strong consisting of sweet fruitiness and citrus hops. The first taste showcases the hop presence of this beer with pungent grapefruit followed by bready malts on the back end. The taste is great but what really elevates this beer is the smoothness. Considering the strong presence of grapefruit there is very little astringency or bitterness, which allows the bursting hop flavor to be the focus.

From the tap:
A: brownish gold cloudy appearance. 1 finger of head. Decent lacing.
S: grapefruit citrus blast strong hop presence
T: higher citrus profile consistent with the nebco ipa style
M: fully flavored with a bitter dry aftertaste
O: please can it. Another great ipa!!!!
