A yellowish amber colored brew, cloudy with a decent white smattering of bubbles on top and very respectable lacing. The aroma suggests bright lemon orange hop and clove soaked tobacco-seaweed with a notable bubblegum touch. Quite alluring. The flavor brings on a sharp lemon clove bread/cake that satisfies instantly. There's a little bubblegum and a touch of clove, peachy and hay-grass. This is a light bodied ale with a thin but effervescent feel. This takes a little adjustment out of the gate as it comes on so sharply but it grows on you quickly and ultimately blossoms into an ideal sessionable hop beauty with the Belgian touch to quench your thirst and your taste buds. NEB strikes again!

Available on tap at New England Brewing Company as part of a new small batch series they are starting. This installment is a belgian pale ale that appeared golden colored with a bit of cloudiness and a foamy white head. Less carbonation than expected but still a very light mouthfeel. Smell was not as rewarding as a usual belgian pale ale, with only hop flavors penetrating through. The taste was more complex with three different types of hops and lighter grassy tones. Overall a solid experimental beer and I hope the rest in the series can be good as well.
