Can courtesy of JohnnyHops.
Corm presence.... but in a good way.
A creamed corn way, not an AAL Budweiser way.
This is actually very solid for the cream ale style. Bravo.
Is good they do something with all that extra corn. Am I right??

I've had this beer once, quite a while ago and remember it being great. So I'm excited and curious to have it again and review it this time around.
Poured from a 12 oz. glass into a "can" style pint glass.
Beer pours out clear and golden in color. A white crown forms but quickly dissipates to an outer ring while bubbles are still rising.
The smell is sweet, sweet, sweet and creamy corn.
The taste is the same. Very sweet and creamy corn to it.
Mouthfeel is wet and creamy. Full bodied.
Overall, I'm glad what I thought last time hasn't changed. This is the most enjoyed cream Ale I've had.

Received as an extra in a trade. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a slightly hazy golden hue with a thin head that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of light vanilla, loads of lactose, nice creaminess. Loads of corn notes, like corn on the cob notes. Great grits too.
T - Taste is similar to the nose nice lightly sweet notes with faint caramel, decent amount of malts, loads more of corn. Tastes, well, like you're drinking creamed corn juice.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, a bit thin.
O - Overall this was a solid take on a cream ale, the corn is really a nice spin. That being said, doesn't mean it is something I would really want to drink.

Pretty much no head, hazy almost murky golden corn color.
Nose pretty much wheat and corn, mineral water, grits, creamy cream ale, pretty much just creamed corn.
Taste brings sweet malts, quite sweet, corn, creamed corn and lactose with a little cream ale, toasty, mineral water notes, more cooked grits, and a little grassy hop.
Mouth is med bod, little creamy decent carb.
Overall, well they delivered plenty of creamed corn, that's about it though.

Poured at 45°F from a 12oz can (canned on 19Sep15) into a Mikasa Ale glass. Consumed on 28Mar16.
LOOK: Three fingers worth of white foam forms after pouring and recedes to a half fingers worth within one and half minutes. Light gold in color with a high amount of cloudiness. Rising bubbles are scarce in quantity. Lacing is thick and subtle.
SMELL: Mild aromas of sweet creamed corn, peaches, pears, and white grapes are backed by hints of earthy yeast and floral hops.
TASTE: A bizarre, but pleasant first taste occurs at first sip as strong peach and mild creamed corn flavors first the palate. Mild white grapes and pears immediately follow and expand the fruitiness of the brew. Mild earthy yeast and subtle floral hops finish off the taste profile as all previous flavors persist, except for peaches, which fade to mild.
FEEL: Light-bodied and moderately carbonated. Goes down somewhat rough. Finsihes very crisp.
NOTE: Never have I had a beer actually brewed with cream corn. I'm not sure what inspired this, but it works! I definitely recommend to anybody who is up for something that is different and tasty.
