Poured into a tulip.
Look: Hazy gold. Got about 2 fingers of nice white creamy foam. Persisted for a while. When it finally thinned out it left a nice frothiness on the surface. Nice lacing as it was drank.
Smell: I can't discern one hop variety from another but you get a nose full of hops. Pine, resin and citrus. It is awesome.
Taste: Again I can't tell different hop varieties but Ii get pine and citrus on top. Many delicious hops flavors come in with those. However no single one overpowers the other so you get a lot of flavor in a drink.
Feel: I would say just shy of medium mouth feel. Fairly dry. Very good carbonation. There is not a huge after taste with this. You get a little bit of hop bitterness at the end but it is not offensive in any way.
Overall: I went into my local spirit store looking for a new ale to try. this was on the top shelf next to the last new one I tried. This was very good. I would make this a regular tenant in my beer fridge.

when i moved to colorado about five years ago now, we really didnt have a definitive ipa, i mean, there was modus and titan and a handful of others, but we lacked a hoppy beer identity a little bit i think. now we have a ton of good micro ones, and this now has to be near the top of the list. a pretty classic west coast style absolutely dripping with juicy hops. its honey colored and holds a full inch of white head, great clarity. the nose turns me on, lemony hops, citra and maybe some simcoe, very citrus driven, mouthwatering even. the grain base isnt super light either, there is some body and some dry crackery element from the pale barley. its also a little sturdier in abv, which i think is appropriate in this brew. the hops make it though, i think more mosaic in the flavor maybe, it has that tropical quality with the citrus from the aroma, very fruity and juicy, but still also plenty bitter as it moves toward the finish. good carbonation and just a little oily hop derived sweetness as it closes. overall an awesome ipa, i would put this on par with some of the odd13 and comrade stuff as the best colorado india pale ales in the game right now. its that good.

Really one of the best IPAs around. Hop forward with low malt. The nose is very tropical and dank. The High Abv is perfectly hidden. It could pass for a double IPA (batch 2 is 8%) but it doesn't taste like a double at all (kind of like Pliny). I love this beer. I love proboscis but this overtook it for me.

Poured a golden copper hue with a half finger of head on draft at Tap 14. Aroma of pine and grass - great nose! This is the hoppy, piny IPA I've been seeking in Colorado. Must try if you have the opportunity.

First time Colorado visitor here, and this was highly recommended at every bottle shop I went to when I asked for a solid Colorado IPA. Pour is a semi hazy golden orange pour, big frothy head that lasts for the whole session. Piney resinous aroma, slight tropical notes such as melon, citrus zest and kiwi. Following the aroma well, it has a nice west coast hop forward taste. Resinous pine in the back end, not much maltiness detected at all. Solid offering!

L: Slightly Hazy copper honey color with a small creamy head that sticks around and fingers of lacing around the glass.
S: Lots of tropical fruit, including Mango, guava, banana with notes of citrus and pine. Love the tropical nose on this beer.
T: Ripe citrus, guava, Mango, and banana. A strong bitterness. I feel like it is a slight bit too bitter, but the juicy tropical fruit and citrus is great.
F: Medium body and creamy carbonation.
O: Love how tropical fruit forward this beer. Really good IPA.

Well fellow beer lovers, it's 'bout damn time for another beer review. I was going to do The Amalgamator next, but my last can got consumed and I haven't found it anywhere since. Conveniently, this is also 7.1% alcohol, which reminded me of reviewing beer. It's also about the tastiest West Coast style IPA that I've had since moving here.
L: Pours a sightly hazy golden orange with no visible sediment. Jagged and profuse lacing formed an image of a snowy peak on the glass. Can is a beautiful metallic green, with a cool hoppy clock graphic.
S: Typical fruity West Coast hop aromas of orange, mango and pineapple are noted first. Star fruit, red grape and gala apple are present in the middle, with an herbal greenness, like loroco, and a sweet bread note with some rye pepperiness on the finish.
T: Super juicy with notes of orange, ruby red grapefruit, and pineapple at first. An oxidized planty loroco note fills the middle. This was much less notable a month ago, but this beer is now about 70 days from canning and it shows.
F: Super smooth with a rich texture that clearly comes from not being filtered. I like IPAs to have a good strong bite though, and this has almost none.
O: Great IPA, definitely highly recommended, especially if fresh.
