ABC Fine Wine & Spirits

This ABC was directly across the street from my spring break condo on Ormond Beach (March 2016). Being a bit of a snob, I did not expect such a decent selection and outstanding service from a big chain store, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The big-business feel of the store is a little cold, but there is a very nice selection of things to warm you all nicely displayed and with good lighting, etc. This is a first classy space.

The beer selection looked good. I was mostly after local brews (Florida), and there many (some great, some not so). The prices seemed about the same as in Ohio. A VERY nice feature was that they permit taking singles from any package except sealed boxes and such. This allowed me to fill a grocery cart with miscellaneous things - I love doing that. There may be a slight surcharge for singles. Not a big deal.

On my repeat visit I also bought some Jameson at a very low price compared to back home. The sales people knew about beer (at least one did) and she made good recommendations. So if you are in Ormond Beach, you can't go wrong at this quality ABC store.
