A 330ml bottle with a BB of May 2017. Acquired quite recently from a webshop. The label describes it as a pale ale hopped with Columbus and Cascade.
A: Poured into a tulip. Bottle conditioned. A hazy marmalade hue with fine sediment and intense carbonation. Produces a vast head of frothy off-white foam that lasts for a while before settling as a thick surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of fruity, spicy hops with hints of pepper, weed, subtle pine, grass, faint citrus, sweet caramel, barley sugar and earthy yeast. Satisfyingly distinctive.
T: Tastes of spicy, pungent hops with notes of weed, mild pine resin, pepper, grass, subtle citrus, caramel malt, barley sugar, earthy yeast and faint grain. Sweet, followed by a robust bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly with lively carbonation. Good body and some hop oil stimulation going on as well. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, sweet malt and yeast.
O: Rather nice - the character seemed to unfold as I drank it. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour are decidedly hoppy with a sweet malt backbone. Pleasant body. The hop character certainly comes through, particularly a spicy pepper note. Not sure about pale but it's a pretty good brew. Worth sampling if you come across it.

Lively pour with a large beige head that receded in quick time. Hazy light brown hue with a light citrus aroma. Gentle hops come across on tasting, with grapefruit and yuzu to the fore. Quite a thin mouthfeel, although not unpleasant.

Clear pale amber. Good effervescence. Tight cream head.
Mild sweet citrus hop aroma.
Hops again on the palate. Light phenolic flavour. Grapefruit.
Light to medium body. Carbonation sparkles on the tongue.
Quite an easy one to drink.

Pours clear amber into a tulip from a bottle. The offwhite head sits at two fingers before receding into surface froth. The head is moderately sparse, a little frothy, and doesn't hang around for long; there's no lacing left behind.
The aroma is sweet and made of clementines, some zesty citrus, a little pine resin, floral grass, and aromatic hops towards the back end. The flavour doesn't quite follow on as expected; there's more emphasis on the tart oranges, sour grapefruit, lime, pith and zest and moderate floral hop bitterness on the back palate. Upfront there is a fleeting sweetness from the fruit, but it's quickly replaced by lemongrass. There isn't much of a malt character in this ale.
Mouthfeel is light-medium, well carbonated, and oily.
It's alright, pretty sessionable, unoffensive although quite a lively beer so I couldn't drink too much of it.
