I really like this Bj's, they are in the process of remodeling the bar area. they plan on making it look like the newer style BJ's. you big screen tv and the works. They are getting a new brewing there own NEW IPA called HOP-STORM that should be out soon. I hope that it is good!

They do have a beer called prestige 100 which is a pale ale that has a fresh hops taste, very smooth and citrusy end. Then the RED is amazing, i'm not a huge fan of red but i tell you what this is a solid beer. Plus there are a few good looking bartenders here, that always helps.

BJ's in Arcadia is one of my favorite locations. I have been here a number of times, especially when I was living in Claremont. I used to hop over to this location in order to get some good Belgian beers on the bottle.

BJ's is located in a very standard strip mall location in Arcadia. The wait staff is very nice and it looks like all the other BJ's that exist in the world. Wood furniture, small bar area and great pizza with HUGE Chicago style crust. I always go there for Happy Hour as the prices are much nicer during that time. I enjoy the Jeremiah Red and the Belgian beer menu is pretty darn good for a place that doesn't even keep their Belgian menu out on the counter. You actually have to ask for it in order to get the list.

The artichoke & spinach pizza is awesome and so are the seasoned fries. I would hit this location up if you are in the area.

I've been to a few BJ's, but this one is probably the worst in terms of the bar area. In the others I've been to there were big screen T.V.s and a pretty large bar area, but this one has a pull down t.v. onto which they project sports. Other than that, the food was still good, the pizza is the best I've ever tasted (personal opinion, of course), and the bartenders are pretty cool. I usually go to this one after work because I work in Pasadena, so it's never really that crowded and the staff tends to share in a bit of "small-talk" with me and my buddies, but I can't imagine they would do the same if it was busy. The beers they serve are brewed at the location in West Covina because this particular location doesn't have a brewery on site. The selection usually consists of their Pirhana Pale Ale, Harvest Hefeweizen, PM Porter, Tatonka Stout, Jeremiah Red, Blonde, and sometimes the Nutty Brunette. Because the brewers change, the taste of the same brew changes with it sometimes. For example, I've tasted their Hefeweizen and it's been right on for an American style, but other times it's seemed too light and lacking of flavor. Same goes for the Red. The Pale is usually the most consistent in my opinion, and it is quite good. I'm not a porter or Stout fan, although the Tatonka is very smooth and malty. All in all I'd say this is a pretty cool place to have a few. Happy hour is from 4-7pm and 10pm-close M-Th and just 4-7pm on Fridays with their brews costing $2.50 each.

Located about a mile east of Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia. BJ's has three locations now within thirty minutes of my home. The interior is pretty much the usual for a chain establishment - a mix of light and dark wood, ceiling fans, brass rails and an assortment of pictures and posters. On entry, the slightly raised bar area is to your front with ten small tables surrounding it. Larger dining tables are on the periphery of the building and on the left is an "L" shaped sunroom with ten tables.
The bar has a wide range of wines and spirits for the non-beer drinkers. A wine and beer list (booklet) was at each table. The most prominant beers are the house beers on tap. They had seven beers available including a nitro-tap for the PM Porter. However they didn't have any cask-conditioned brews from the list. Of note, they offer Guinness, Beamish, and Murphys stouts, Lindeman's Framboise and Kriek, and Piraat Tripel. The beer list also devotes a page to the list of Belgian ales available by the bottle, including Duvel Rood, Orval, Gulden Draak, all the Chimays, Petrus Old Brown and Affligem tripel. Lastly, about ten macros are available in bottles if you're itching to go slumming all the sudden.
The beers are of above average quality. All were served in pint glasses (sigh), even the hefeweizen (sigh). No lemons were hurt during the drinking of any hefeweizen. None of the beers were served in frosty glasses or so cold the taste was killed. A sample (5oz. ea.) of all 7 beers on tap cost $7.95.
Service was good. The waitresses and bartenders were courteous and fairly knowledgeable about the beers available. I was with a couple friends catching the MNF game and the place was quite crowded and busy. We had a small table just off of the bar and our waitress was very attentive. Glasses remained full, water and food were brought promptly, and used items quickly cleared away.
Food was reasonably priced and of quality similar to an Applebys. We stuck with appetizers. The breadsticks were excellent for cleansing the palate between samples.
Overall, a decent place to go to have some solid, quality beer and watch a game.
