A bright citrus aroma leads to a pleasantly smooth body with a subtle hop spice that lingers in the background.

A passable APA with East Coast essence with strong medium caramel flavors and subdued orange, grapefruit, and pine resin notes, Very old-school APA in aroma, flavor, and feel. Fine if you are faced without much choice.

Wonderful pale ale. Citrus nose, moderate hoppy taste that’s perfect for a pale, wonderful aftertaste and mouthfeel that makes you want another swig. Good thing it’s not too high in ABV at 5.5%! Purchased this APA at Pacifico Nuevo Latino in New Haven, CT

Nice golden yellow color good head retention slight Haze but pretty clear. Slight spicy hops aroma no appreciable mall. Nice light hot bitterness with a nice multi aftertaste. Pretty good balance between hops and malt. Easily drinkable. What a pale l should be. Most pale ales are too hoo forward and are really ipas. Really enjoyed this.

my first beer from these guys, a pretty robust pale as they go, its bitter almost to an ipa level, it has a significant malt backbone while staying on the dry side, and seems like a perfect drinker for early fall, although i wish the cans were a little fresher, this was already on the decline a little bit when i had it, but still a lot to like. the hops seem a little old school, higher alpha and likely northwestern, a centennial type woodiness, even a cascade type spice, but im not sure what they use. it has an early onset bitterness that ramps up quick but never goes too far, and it presents with some pine, some dried floral character, and some grassiness as it warms, not quite a bruiser but more intense than expected in this style and abv range. the aroma and flavor are similar, but i get more of the hop fade and oxidation in the taste. the malt gives it some body, a toasted note, and a modest middle sweetness that is not out of place, an appreciated counterpoint to the robust hops, and it doesnt make the beer heavy at all. carbonation is excellent, the texture is frothy even airy, and that helps this stay drinkable despite having a little more to it than a lot of pales these days. good not amazing, but i bet when its brand new its a level better than it was in my experience. good morning and daytime pale.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of bready and cracker malt smell mixed with a decent about of pine and herb. There is also a light amount of lemon and a touch of caramel.
Taste – The taste starts out with a light grain and bready malt flavor mixed with a moderate herbal and pine hop flavor. There is a little bit of sweetness of caramel and orange and a bit of doughiness. As the taste advances, forward it loses a bit of the sweetness, all while the hop gets a bit more intense, leaving one with a moderately hopped and malted taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is moderate in thickness and in carbonation level. Overall, the feel is good and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall – A decent APA overall with a good drinkability. Nothing super extraordinary, but good none the less.
