The Red Rose is a most original Amber Ale β the result of high fermentation (with ale yeast) at an unusually low (lager-like) temperature. This robust, rich brew, with fruity, malty flavors, is nonetheless crisp, refreshing, and dry. As a rose β extravagantly layered, expansively fragrant, and just a bit prickly.

Pours an ugly swamp water brown with a nice beige frothy head which dissipates slowly into a millimeter of undying bubbles.
Smells of hops. Hints of brown sugar.
Honey, malt, hops, tiny floral tidbits. All nicely balanced, not bad.
Nice bitterness and friendly carbonation keep this brew alive and pungent on the tongue.
For 5% doesn't taste watery or weak. I like this one.

Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a light semi-transparent amber/red color with a small white foamy head swiftly gliding off. Barely any lace.
The aroma had some tea leafy/grassy/floral character with some caramel/toffee malts.
The flavor took the prior mentioned aromas to blend with some mineral water to become semi-sweet. Slight aftertaste of caramel/toffee malts, mineral water, and grassy/floral character.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under. Pretty good sessionability. Carbonation and ABV felt on par. Semi-tea like finish with some dryness.
Overall, pretty nicely done amber alert I could come back to.

Looks like ice tea, deep, reddish brown. No carbonation. Topped with 4 fingers of brownish head.
Smells of tea, hard water, and caramel.
Tastes of tea, hard water, chilli peppers, caramel, toffee, and black tea.
Light body, little carbonation, and a dry, tannic finish.
Got in Chiang Mai, drinking here Feb 23rd, 2017. The heat surprised me, but overall its an interesting brew.

A 330ml bottle, packaged on 24th May 2016, to be enjoyed within 12 months. Poured into a Mikkeller pint glass.
Appearance: A clear copper amber colour with a one finger off white head that had pretty good retention and eventually settled to a nice thin layer while leaving nice lacing.
Aroma: Malty, caramel, tea leaves and maybe a touch of honey. But itβs all really quite light.
Taste: Sweet biscuit malt with touches of caramel, wood, breadiness and lemon here and there.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Mouthfeel was great with nice crispness and tingly carbonation, but the aromas were too light and I really had to search for them. Taste was normal and drinkable. Not bad, but not quite my type of beer.
