360 ml bottle in FL.
Pours with a murky, copper body topped by a good bone-colored head.

Excellent mother with ample natural carbonation.

Drinks like a fine Belgian ale in that it's highly complex and well balanced (assuming you like figs), Faint cinnamon works well. Nearly too much dried dark fruit flavor, even for me.

Overall: recommended! Sip slowly and contemplatively.

I dig the spice. I enjoy the fluctuating color. I like the jammy/figgy smell. But...it's eh. It is just is. Nothing remarkable, which is sad since it sounds fun on paper. Figs and cinnamon should work...but just seems to get lost. Granted, it was bottled almost a year ago so might be better fresh. But...yeah, not really feeling it now.

Had this on tap at new albanian. This had basically no qualities of a winter warmer, except some very slight spice flavor. The color is an orangy-copper, lighter than any other warmer I've seen.. The flavor had hints of fig and some spice, fairly light on both. The mouthfeel wasnt super but not terrible. Pass.

Pours a one finger white head that vanishes leaving no lace. Cloudy amber color, some yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Malt and faint fig nose and taste is sweet fig and cinnamon. Not cheap at $6.45 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

surprised to see this clever beer rated so poorly on here. it might be the first fig beer (save cascades figaro) that i can really taste the figs in it. the cinnamon is cool too, a nice accent flavor, the way salt brings out true flavors in food, the cinnamon seems to enhance the fig here, but its soft and not spicy or sweet, just pleasant and distinct. great lasting tan head on this, rising above the rim of the glass for a moment. its very autumnal in aroma, the dried fruit character, an almost plum fruitiness, and then the cinnamon, which is more gentle than i thought it could be in a beer. i like the yeast too, a very cool strain that dries the beer out tremendously well and has a fresh baked sort of character to it, perfect with the already desserty or biscuity ingredients, and the carbonation it produces is very jovial. easy drinking for how unique it is, i havent had much of anything like this at all, and would highly recommend it. again, really surprised others havent liked this one too much, its so well thought out and crafted. i now am in search of others from these guys, real affordable too for what it is.

too much fig! I get it but it's over bearing on the palate. I always finish beers but in the case with this one I had to lay it down.

Aroma of sweet malt, honey, biscuits, faint spice, figs. Taste sweet malt, light spice & dark fruit, caramel, earthy notes. Nice!

Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, dark fruit, and molasses aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, dark fruit, raw sugar, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is fairly subdued when cold, but gets much better all around as it warms up over time.

Serving type: bottle.
