330 ml bottle. Bottled on 2014-10-07.
A: Hazy dark brown. Poured 2 fingers high of head, with medium short retention.
S: Intense roasted aroma. Medium woody and citrus aroma.
T: Intense roasted coffee and chocolate. Moderate citrus. Dry. Long finish.
M: Full bodied. Moderate carbonation.
O: The description says brown ale, but it's more like a black IPA. Pretty hoppy and roasty.

Had this on tap at Vivo in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. A relatively strong ale for Baird with a name inspired by the failing economy and governmental mishaps in the country (official explanation from Baird's blog). "Bakayaro!" means "Stupid idiot!" in Japanese. This brew is a reddish-dark ale that is a bit thin in mouthfeel. However, the taste is amazingly packed full of flavors such as hops, cloves, and even some berry. The scents and the high alcohol content immediately wake up your senses as you sniff it, and absolutely warm the stomach upon swallowing. This was a limited 2011 brew, so i'm not sure that it is available anymore. However, if you can find it bottled somewhere (or still on tap), get it! Go Baird!
