This IPA. packed with the juicy goodness of hops, is an homage to our flagship brewery in Lakeland, Florida. The town, most known for its 38 lakes, royal swans and endless citrus groves, was at its founding almost named Rome City. No one really knows why. So here's a beer to celebrate what almost was, for a reason no one knows. Cheers!

I bought a six pack of this beer from the publix store near Grayton beach store. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus hop clean finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Single can poured into a snifter glass. Been curious about this one as I've heard of folks who have contract brewed at the facility for various reasons. Pours a lightly hazed golden orange in color with a half inch of slightly off white foam.
Nose is hoppy with citric and floral notes and a flash of shallot/onion. Taste is bitter up front and with a very dry profile. Finish and feel suffers a bit as a result. Feel suffers from lack of malt balance, simply too dry on the finish and too much work done to extract every gram of sugar from the malt.

It is very bitter but in a weird good way. Light mouthfeel and very hoppy. Has a orange color.

Really tasty and easy to drink. Compared to a lot of other local ipas I've drank here it's far superior.
