Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 16 oz. can into an J. Wakefield Brewing OG teku glass.

A: Mildly hazy and gold, with a thin white head that disappears almost instantly. Similarly, there's a quick buzz of visible carbonation at first, but it stops almost as soon as you’re done pouring. A little disappointing in the appearance category - this looks flat and almost sad.

S: Pilsner malts, light lactic tartness. Some fruity yeast esters – a mild Belgian yeastiness with apples up front. Not off-putting, but this doesn’t much smell like a gose.

T: Light lactic tartness over cracker malts with a moderate pilsner character as well. Mild lemony citric acid, coriander, and then more yeast esters that just don’t belong here, and lend an apple or pear flavor. Maybe a very mild salinity, but mild enough I think I would have missed it if wasn’t looking for it. More fruitiness at the swallow.

M: A light body, with low carbonation sensation (though not as flat as the appearance suggested). Low alcohol presence.

O: Despite what the name (and can) indicated, this just isn’t a gose-style ale at all. The Belgian-type yeast flavors shouldn’t be there, it’s not very tart, and the salt is largely missing. I would certainly prefer without the pilsner malt flavors, but that’s personal preference. It’s not undrinkable, but I won’t be drinking it again. Also, I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for a gose. Scores given end up being appropriate for both personal preference and to-style, though for different reasons.

Poured a 16 can into a pint glass. Purchased at a Total Wine in Viera, FL for $2.29.

A: pours a hazy golden, lemonade colored hue below roughly 2 fingers of fluff.
S: lemons, yeast, bread crust, and pineapple juice. Nothing overpowering the other, and all aromas listed are very subdued.
T: follows the nose fairly well. Sour, citrusy tartness on the front/middle tounge. Salty pineapple on the finish.
F: medium body, low carbonation. Too much body/thickness for a gose-styled beer to me.
O: not too shabby for a first attempt at a gose. This is a beer style that was nearly dead in the water up until 3-4 year ago. Flavor was quite good, body a bit too much. Overall drinkablity is great. I'd certainly have another.
