Well, I won't chase PseudoSue in WI with this around. Excellent bitterness on the finish. Fantastic Citra pale.

Pours a hazy yellow with a pure white head. Smell is citrus-y and floral, definitely hop-forward. Taste is less hoppy, with grapefruit, a bit of orange, floral notes and a slightly bitter finish. There's a nice sweet presence from the malt throughout. Medium-bodied and smooth. One of the best tasting APAs I've had, definitely a standout.

Dark yellow in color with orange hues on the edge of the glass with a murky, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a moderate, bright white, soapy foam with medium low retention. Sweet fruit, citrus orange and lemon hop aromas up front with solid malt character. Medium light bodied with medium carbonation and a light smooth feel. Medium citrus hop flavors with light, sweet malt and fruity notes. Medium light hop bitterness slowly expands through the middle. Light fruit, malt and light bready notes on the back end. Finished semi-dryly with light lingering citrus hop and malt flavors. Light and smooth with great hop character and a solid malt backbone. Very easy drinking.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy, bright yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by citrus. Taste is of citrus, tropical fruits are present, highly refreshing. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but I was expecting more based on the ratings here.

Poured out a hazy, pale yellow color with a thin yet fluffy white head. Citrusy, lemon-lime scent; grassy. Light citrus taste with a strong hop bitterness bringing up the back end; lemon and grapefruit. Medium-light body; sharp and tart on the palate; dry sweetness overall.

A nice tasting, citrus and hop bitterness quality define this beer overall.

L: Has a big gob of sediment on the bottom but a careful pour keeps it out of the glass. It pours lively hazy gold under a thin white foam collar that quickly recedes.
S: Grassy, citrusy hops with floral and tropical fruit notes.
T: Citrus, tropical fruit, bitter melon and citrus rind, moderately low malt, medium high hop bitterness and moderately low hop flavor.
F: Medium light body and medium high carbonation.
O: A solid, easy to drink beer.

a citrusy and really drinkable pale ale with still some light malty character to it and a unique hop complexion that uses a varietal or a combination of different hops that is somewhat unfamiliar to me, like simcoe but on steroids, maybe its just super fresh, but its really really nice, and the flavor is not a fall off from the nose, which often happens with the beers that are dry hop focused. there is still a good bitterness to this, and its even pushing the ipa realm there in my opinion, but there is a softness about it too, lemony and springy and fresh, really nicely refined beer. very well carbonated, the bubbles seem to push the hops up to the forefront of this, and its just off dry in the finish, not gone too quick to enjoy the finish. these guys have become one of the best breweries in the twin cities for sure, and its their wild stuff that excites me most and seems to get most of the credit, but these hop driven beers they are putting out are also excellent. this is beer drinkers session beer, right on for the upcoming summer season.
