Hazy calf shit yellow with a small head. Just a little lacing is left behind. Aroma of tropical fruit and a bit of citrus with some dankness. Flavor is low in bitterness but high on hop flavor. Nice tropical fruit flavors with some juicy citrus in the finish. Smooth texture and adequately carbonated.

L: A murky, straw gold pour fills the glass producing a 1" off-white blanket of foam with a fine bead and good retention
S: melon, tropical fruit, tangerine, floral and traces of lactose and biscuit
T: tropical fruit tart flavor with pineapple, melon, orange and citrus mingling with a rich pastry base
F: very creamy, juicy and pulpy with a medium body and very soft, fine carbonation
O: full flavored, nicely balanced and satisfying

Pours a hazy, bright yellow, with a slight orange hue. Smells like fresh, dank hops, slight orange peel notes, passionfruit, unripe mango, but mostly just dank. Tastes medium-bodied, juicy, less bitter than expected, passonfruit, mango, papaya, orange peel, lemon juice, dank hops, and crisp.

A - Opaque medium to dark orange with a thin dense ring of lacing.
S - Aroma is mild and balanced, some light fruit and spice. Pretty uneventful.
T - Spicy fruit rind from start to finish with some garlic and onion. Nice old school here.
M - Robust, slightly chewy, and very dry on the back of the tongue.
O - I didn't care for this one at first but now that I'm working through the can it's really growing on me. The nose falls short but everything else hits the mark.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 03/18/19
This was a freebie.
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, melon, peach), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, melon, peach), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.

L-Hazy glowing IPA appearance.
S-Fresh citrus....oranges, tangerines. Lighter notes of lemons.
T-Big juicy orange and tangerine flavor. Like biting into a perfectly ripe orange wedge. Also a bit of passion fruit evident as well. Perhaps some lime notes.
F-Creamy, pillowy body. Slides down quick and easy.
O-Great beer. Nails the style. I love the fresh citrus flavors. Medium dry finish. Not oversweet.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Hazed yellow-gold, good head.
Smell: Oranges, bit of rind.
Taste: Orange juice, sweet and mild. Soft feel. Tasty.
Overall: A solid NE IPA from Fair State. I like NE IPA's but so many of them taste the same to me. Unless it is focused on a certain hop (and even then a lot of the time), they taste like orange juice. This is in that crowd. Good but same-y.

A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy golden-orange with a half-finger of white head on top.
S: First reaction: something "off." But after a few sniffs, that sensation abates and I'm getting tropical fruit, dank mustiness, and a touch of overripe oranges.
T: Very nice - juicy sweeter tropical fruit: mango, papaya, with a touch of pineapple. Finishes "clean" for a NE-style IPA.
M: A wee bit on the thin side, but otherwise it's nice: smooth juiciness, with a faint bite of carbonation.
O: A real easy drinker; not a "big" beer, flavor-wise, but super easy to drink, and tasty.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of specks of bubbles on the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of oranges and tangerines are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of orange citrus along with notes of mangos. Only a faint amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, juicy, and slightly smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the use of wheat and oat, this beer seems to be a little lighter in body compared to other beers in the style but is still very juicy.

On tap at Hop cat. White head with lace. Lightly gazed yellow gold.
Really solid New England ipa. Tropical and easy drinking. Mango and papaya. Soft. Some earthy hops. Not a huge flavor, but really nice.
Edit: 3/19 seems to be juicier and more flavorful. Really awesome ipa.
