Poured into a tulip.
Pours orange and cloudy/hazy but not quite orange juice opaque. A very nice white fluffy head that hangs around well for the ABV and excellent lacing.
Aromas of pineapple, mango, white stone fruit, and some grassy and evergreen hops.
A wallop of sweet fruit on the tip of the tongue that follows the nose, but with more aggression. In midstream, everything starts coming together. The sweet fruits give way to some chive, herbal, and white pepper notes. These new arrivals are quickly greeted by evergreen and just a bit of earthy dank hop goodness before a touch of booze finishes the party. Very well balanced.
Medium to medium full bodied. Moderate carbonation lets this have a smooth creamy delivery that nevertheless provides a drying finish.
It's tough to find a "hmmm, interesting" NEIPA anymore. This is one for sure. After writing the style notes above, I went back and looked at my review of the original Mirror Universe. This one delivers most if not all of the flavors of the original with more WCIPA notes, and more "pop" overall. A rare example of the sequel surpassing the original, at least for me.

16 oz. can. Pours hazy orange with a big white head. Smells of sweet orange and tropical fruit. Sweet and juicy smelling. Tastes of sweet juice as well, but tempered by garlic and earthy hop flavors. Sweet finish. Medium heavy. Good, but a bit too sweet for the flavor it delivers.

Armistice Day 2020.
16 oz. can, BOD appears to be 07/20/20.
Poured in the ~8oz. 75th Anniversary Storz pilsner.
Large creamy off white head lingers. Well carbonated. Fairly cloudy, looks like unfiltered pineapple juice. Aroma is tropical fruit and light citrus. Starts quite tropical, pineapple, mango, citrus. Alcohol is not hot but fairly noticeable. Medium body, very nice mouthfeel. Nice lingering fruity bitter aftertaste.
I want more but the 8.6% is gonna limit me.

Had this on tap into a tall tulip glass. This is a surprisingly refreshing double hazy IPA.
Pours a hazy bright yellow with a nice white head and good lacing. Fragrant citrus smell with smell and taste of lime lemon and orange. There is a hint of gin booziness that adds to the refreshing nature of the beer. It went great with lunch!

Darker oranger juice pour with two fingers of white foam. Pineapple, mango, lemon, melon, and peach in the nose with resinous hops rounding out. Taste follows but is massive on the palate: mango, melon, nectarine and pineapple explode with the lemon, peach, and the piney and resinous hops with a dank undertone lingering. Feel is massive yet soft, resinous but decently dry. Much like the original but pulls it off on a larger scale

Pours a very hazy golden yellow color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is decent. Lacing is very good. Juicy citrus pineapple aroma with a little bit of dankness. Some piney resin at the end. Nice juicy pineapple with some candied sweetness on the taste. A little dankness and piney resin on the end. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Fair State Double Universe DNEIPA, 8.6% ABV. Pours yellow, with a nice four-finger white head that left decent lacing. Nose is pine, orange/tangerine, and pineapple, taste follows with moderate sweetness and slight bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class.

Canned on 7/10/20, two weeks old. ABV listed as 8.6% on label. Pours a bright hazy yellow with a huge white head that lingers and leaves great lacing. Aroma is pineapple and orange. Flavor follows the nose initially sweet then a sudden marijuana dankness. Feel is medium bodied and creamy. Overall a very fine beer. Dangerous because the abv so well hidden.
