I drink this a lot because Fort Sam Houston has it for $20 a case which is a great price for a decent everyday beer. You can't beat it at that price. Wouldn't drink it as much for $25. Wouldn't drink it at all for $30.

Nice looking beer. This reminds me a bit of the pils I had in Germany, but it's more on the lower end, like Bitburg. It's a very dry beer with quite a bit of flavor, that goes well with basic American food.

Great clarity in this brew, just perfect. Easy head formation, that settles down, yet also leaves some lacing. Lacking big time in bubbles however, and that makes me wonder how old this bottle is.

Grassy hop aroma, corn bread, and honey. Standard for style, but big enough to be noticeable.

Refreshing flavor. Initially there’s a good malt hit, filling my mouth with a surprisingly full-feeling body, but the dry finish, with those grassy hops, cuts it all back to even ground. Lacking on carbonation, which is a pretty big ding on style. Flavor is light overall but not dull. I do like the bitterness in the finish.

A good pilsner despite what may be an outdated bottle. However, I can think of a few more that I enjoy significantly more. I wouldn’t buy it, but I sure wouldn’t turn one down if offered to me.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a samuel Adams pint glass.

A- pours a crystal clear straw colored body with a generous 3 inch whte head with medium retention and medium lacing

S- citrus, grass, slight skunkyness

T- slight caramel, skunkyness, light malt, grass. Slightly bland

M- slightly water and medium carbonation

Overall a decent , crisp brew that would be great as a thirst quencher of to accompany dinner.
