For a brewery know for barrel aged stouts this is Very solid New England style double IPA. Pours with a hazy orange color. Excellent mouth feel and a solid balance of hops and malt

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic glass, not sure when it was canned but just arrived at the store on Wednesday. Pours a murky orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5

Smell ripe melon, guava, blueberry, peach, and apricot really nice. 4.5

Taste follows cantaloupe, guava, peach, blueberry, and apricot really bold flavor but balanced. 4.5

Mouthfeel is big, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 9% ABV really easy drinking. 4.75

Overall this is a really nice NEDIPA and this brewery impresses me often, just wish they would start marking dates on the cans. They want us to store cold and drink fresh, but we have no idea when it was actually canned. 4.5

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Thick and giant rich fistfull producing head. Soars a bit overkill beyond four fingers with excellent staying power. Supper soapy khaki colored and a thick dollop of cream and bubbled clingy lace everywhere. The body is a brilliant crystal orange amber, shining like polished copper and almost a ruby orange sense to it. Excellent looking beer.

Aroma is a big impressive hop excursion. Light sensing juice with a candy softness and mild sweet sense of fruit. Gum drops. Spritzy sensing tangerine orange abounds, with hints of light clove and green spicy herbs. Some faint tropical notes kick in as well, with a touch of pineapple. An excellent smelling fruit balanced IPA.

This beer is not fooling around. Full rich mouthfeel of malt and a wonderful resiny coating. Pleasing hits of tropical juice and citrus pound the palate with a faint sugar sweetness. The mid palate also brings back a classic flavor, true pine bitterness for contrast making for a hop blasting powerful ride.

Very fun and excellently made IPA.

A hard pour on the beer produced a two finger head that is creamy and airy. The head is an ivory color with good retention. The head dissipated slowly leaving some lacing on the glass. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The color of the beer is SRM 6 a medium amber with copper tones. The clarity of the beer is slightly opaque with effervescent visible on the sides of the glass. The beer has this beautiful appearance.

The initial aromas in the beer are solvent, grapefruit, pine, oranges, and cardboard. Next aromas in the beer are caramel, tropical, malt-like sweetness, bready, herbal, and pineapple.

The first flavors I get are grapefruit, pineapple, caramel, tropical, resin, dank, musty, and solvent. Next, I get herbal, floral, bready, and malt like sweetness.

The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent and dry.

The body of the beer is medium-plus, medium carbonation, and full finish.

This beer is a dank musty floral and hops bomb. The beer is a bit stale. For me, the DIPA is in need of a stout malt backbone.

Nice head, decent lacing, hazy orange tan color.

Nose mosaic, citrus tropical notes, dank resin and pine, herbal, little malt.

Taste more mosaic, little tropical orange and musty fruit, fair pine sap and resin, spicy hop, quite bitter, little if any malt.

Mouth med bod, decent carb.

They sell their beers so well the descriptions are amazing this was dry hopped with a blend of Mosaic and Falconers Flight hops sounds awesome. Taste meh very muted juiciness and tropical flavors. Also their IPAs have just a slight off flavor to them like something is giving off an off flavor water barrel I don't know. I wish I can find an IPA they make that makes me sit up and take notice, but I haven't yet.

One of the best DIPAs I have ever had. The look and smell of it can't predict the smooth mouth feel and well balanced hoppiness and maltiness in the flavor profile. Should have filled up a couple growlers to go.

Orangey color, not too hazy with good lacing as it drinks down. Good hop smell with a good hop body on the taste. Smooth mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Solid double IPA

Pours a golden orange color with a smallish head, fades quickly, only small bits of lacing on the glass.

Smell has a good piney citrus aroma, strong grapefruit presence that makes me think I just cut into a fresh one, picking up the sweet malt on the nose so I'm thinking this will be more on the balanced side.

Taste starts out with the grapefruit presence and lingers throughout with the citrus and bitter, not overly piney or abrasive though, sweet malt backing balances things out but still finishes with that grapefruit flavor regardless, carbonation out of the growler is still active and on the medium side of things, quite resiny with a good stickiness on my lips, finishes semi-dry in the back of the mouth.
