Black with a garnet hue. Three fingers of dark mocha head that bubble away fairly quickly, leaving a wisp and very solid lacing for the ABV.
Rich dark cocoa, loads of marshmallow, some light cherry-and-berry and a whiff of alcohol in the nose. Very lush, sweet and dessert-like.
Tons of marshmallow again in the taste. High quality chocolate ganache and alcohol burn in the finish. There’s just a hint of vinous fruit and the slightest ghost of pecan or peanut brittle, both of which add some nice complexity.
Medium bodied and oily feeling with modest carbonation.
Dessert in a glass. The chocolate is excellent and the marshmallow is intense. Again, the fruit element from the dark malts is quite pleasant, too. Very well crafted.

A 10 oz. pour at Slab in Portland, ME on 7/23/2015. Liquid s'mores. Good balance between chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Not overly heavy or cloyingly sweet (helped by the absence of booziness that you get in many Imperial Stouts). Save room, very filling.

On tap. Sample at festival. Pours black. Aroma is a big, sweet Stout with loads of chocolate, vanilla and marshmallow. Flavor begins with fudgy chocolate; very sweet and full. Heavy vanilla cream and a blatant marshmallow flavor. It finishes with some sweeter, roast and cream flavors. In the end I do pick up some graham cracker and that really seals this one as a victory. Full, creamy body. Sweet and luscious. They did a very good job bringing out the desired flavors. I was a fan of this brew.

L - Pitch black, some ruby red edges, finger of dark brown head
S - Orgasmic marshmallow and vanilla with dark chocolate syrup, brown sugar, cherries, and oak
T - Muted flavors from the aroma. More alcohol than I anticipated
F - Thick and fluffy. Boozy and warming.
O - A good dessert beer, but alcohol needs to be dialed back in order for the taste to match the decadent aroma.

This beer had the deepest darkest body with a very chocolatey tan head. The smell was incredible with dark chocolate, roasted marshmallow, coffee, some nuttiness and cinnamon graham crackers and light licorice. The taste was similar to the nose fairly sweet I didn't pick up the graham crackers to much but the chocolate was huge with a lovely roasted maltiness and that marshmallow. Had a nice body too it I thought it was going to be ver viscous because of the color of the head but it wasn't but it didn't suffer for it clung to the tongue nicely. This was hands down one of the best smelling stouts I have ever had with wave after wave of aromas, if the taste would have matched the aroma perfectly this would have easily been a five in taste as well. As it was it was no slouch very good beer. Highly recommended if you can get it. If this brewery was bigger and bottled this it be the next big thing.
