The colour is gold, the liquid clear. The two finger head is airy and off-white; it sinks down to a thick ring leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is quite sweet with honey, lemonade and some caramel. Distinct citric notes of lemonade (again), grapefruit peels and tangerines. Hints of tobacco and pine needles.
The taste is bitter and sweet with smooth notes of grapefruits, orange peels and pine needles. The malty backbone got some caramel, lemonade, ripe bananas and rosehips. Medium body. The aftertaste brings some alcohol, less sweetness and more citric juices/peels. The long and balanced aftertaste reminds of orange soda with a touch of green plants.
The carbonation is medium strong, the many mid-sized bubbles fresh and long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth and a little sticky.
A balanced APA on the sweeter side. I liked it.
